Terms of Service

1. The Service automatically generates and delivers daily letters (hereinafter "letters") incorporating astrological interpretations based on information such as birth date, time, and place provided by the user.

2. Users may write "letters to the stars" and may also receive replies from the Service's character "Hona."

3. Hona is a fictional character. All letters and Hona's replies are automatically generated by AI (a large language model). They are not written by any real person and do not represent the views of any real individual or organization.

4. The Service is intended for entertainment and self-reflection purposes and does not constitute, nor serve as a substitute for, professional advice in the fields of medicine, psychology, law, finance, or any other area.

5. The Company does not make judgments about fortune or misfortune, predict specific events, or provide instructions for decision-making. Any judgments or actions based on the content of letters are made at the user's own responsibility.

6. If you are experiencing physical or mental distress or are in a crisis situation, please immediately contact your nearest professional support service or emergency services.

1. The Service is available only to individuals aged 18 or older.

2. Individuals under 18 should refrain from using the Service and providing personal information.

3. If the Company becomes aware that it holds data of an individual under 18, it will promptly delete such data.

1. Some features of the Service may be used without creating an account.

2. If you create an account, you are responsible for managing your login credentials.

3. The Company assumes no liability for damages arising from unauthorized use of your account.

1. The basic features of the Service (entering birth data, generating a birth chart, basic readings, and one daily zodiac letter) are currently provided free of charge. Zodiac letters are written per Sun, Moon and Rising sign and are the same for everyone with that sign; they are not based on an individual birth chart.

2. Sending "letters to the stars" is free. Daily letters based on your birth chart, replies from Hona and additional conversations are available during the 7-day free trial that a signed-in user starts themselves (once per account) and on the Pro plan. Letters sent with the "just send my feelings" option do not count toward the reply quota.

3. Usage quotas and pricing structures may change. Any changes will be announced on this page and within the Service prior to implementation.

4. To keep receiving daily letters based on your birth chart and continue conversations with Hona after the trial, we offer a Pro plan at ¥980 per month (tax included). The plan auto-renews monthly and can be cancelled anytime from your settings page. Letters received during the trial or on Pro remain readable after the trial ends or you cancel. For details, please see the "Plans & Pricing" page. Changes to pricing or plan details will be announced on this page and within the Service at least 14 days before the effective date.

1. Copyright in text written by users in their "letters to the stars" remains with the user.

2. Users grant the Company a non-exclusive license to store and process user content to the extent necessary for providing the Service.

3. The Company uses user content only for the following purposes:

- Providing and operating the Service (including generating AI replies)

- Improving the Service (limited to statistical analysis in a non-personally-identifiable format)

4. The Company will not use user content for marketing purposes, will not publish it without user consent, and will not sell it to third parties.

1. The Service uses an external AI service (large language model API) to generate letters and Hona's replies.

2. Birth information and letter content entered by users are sent to the AI service to generate replies.

3. The AI service provider currently used, its country, and how it handles data are described in Articles 4 to 6 of the Privacy Policy. Data sent to the AI service is handled under that provider’s terms and privacy policy. Under the Company’s contract with the provider currently used, data sent to it is not used to develop or improve that provider’s services (including model training).

4. The Company does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or appropriateness of AI-generated content.

Users shall not engage in the following activities when using the Service:

- Activities that violate laws or regulations, or that promote illegal activities

- Harassment, defamation, or slander of other users or third parties

- Circumventing usage quota restrictions

- Mass requests using automated tools, bots, or similar means

- Unauthorized access or attempted access to other users' data

- Unauthorized access to or reverse engineering of the Service's systems

- Any other activities deemed inappropriate by the Company

If the Company identifies any of the above activities, it may restrict or suspend access without prior notice.

1. Intellectual property rights in the Service's design, logo, character "Hona," software, and content (excluding user content) belong to the Company.

2. Users may not reproduce, modify, or distribute these without the Company's prior written consent.

1. The Service is currently in an early stage and may be modified, interrupted, or terminated without notice.

2. The Company does not guarantee uninterrupted provision of the Service, freedom from errors, or the accuracy or suitability of generated content.

3. Data loss may occur due to technical issues. Please back up important content yourself.

4. In the event of Service termination, the Company will endeavor to provide reasonable advance notice and an opportunity for users to export their data.

1. The Service is provided "AS IS." The Company makes no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

2. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising from or related to the use of the Service.

3. The Company's total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the user for the Service in the preceding 12 months (zero in the case of free use).

4. The foregoing provisions do not exclude liability for damages based on the Company's willful misconduct or gross negligence, or liability that cannot be excluded by law.

1. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan.

2. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Nagoya District Court as the court of first instance.

1. The Company may amend these Terms as necessary.

2. In the case of material amendments, notice will be given on this page and within the Service at least 14 days before the effective date of the amendment.

3. Continued use of the Service after an amendment takes effect shall be deemed acceptance of the amended Terms.

4. If you do not agree to the amendment, you may delete your account and discontinue use of the Service.
